• Shutaf Inclusion Programs (Jerusalem) — שותף

  Founded in Jerusalem in 2007 by two mothers who refused to accept that their children had nothing to do after school or during school vacations, Shutaf (shared) now runs year-round after-school activities, a summer day camp, and a Passover teen overnight experience for children, teens, and young adults ages 6 to 30, with and without disabilities. Its reverse-inclusion model brings together participants with developmental, physical, and learning disabilities (75%) alongside peers without disabilities (25%), so inclusion is simply the norm rather than a favor. Since 2007 more than 2,750 children and teens have taken part in 36 Shutaf camps and after-school activities, with junior-counselor and kitchen vocational training for older teens, daily transportation, and scholarships available.
